Are there any movies comming out this summer that you're really looking forward to seeing? For me, this summer I'd like to see The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, Bewitched, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (ooh Johnny Depth) and maybe Madagascar. That one looks cute and also comes out on my birthday. So how about you?

Well I am looking forward to Depp's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, because it looks much darker than the Gene Wilder one. In that same vane, the movie I'm most looking forward to is George Romero's Land of the Dead. I'm hoping it will be available with DVS. Finally I want to see Batman Begins because Katie Holmes is HOT, and because parts of it were filmed in Chicago on Wacker Drive.

"War of the Worlds" the book was awesome, I'm afraid Spieberg will turn this into some stupid Independence Day and American heroism movie (the book was British for gooness' sake no Americans whatsoever and no one was a hero in it .. well a few but they died .. but not to reveal the plot, the help came from unexpected allies shall we say).
Star Wars III, which I saw yesterday with my manager and co workers. It was good, as good as I expected, not great but I really like those movies. Not for the geek quality factor more because of the grand vission of those behing the movies, create their own world and laws and creatures and planets and still teachus a lot about human behavior. If the emperrors tricks don't remind you of Bush every now and then you arenot paying attention to politics. I very much doubt this story was entirely written in the 80s even some of the slogans from the last movie reminded me of the Al Qaeda rantings of our well the U.S. president.
Cheers

Ahh but Peter Jackson is deep in negotiations to film The Hobbit, so all is not lost and Speilberg might surprise us...
